That is, the Hungarian Frying Pan is mightier than the Iron Curtain. Wahahaha!
Hmm... I suppose this scene would apply to either the Pan-european Picnic, or when the borders were completely taken down.
I was half tempted to draw Ivan lying underneath the barbed fence that Elizaveta had taken down, but that panel is already too crowded. Besides, what would he be doing on Roderich's side of the border...?
My ruler was missing, so I ended up drawing this directly into my computer - something I haven't done for a long while. I was kind of lazy to do any inking, so I left it as sketchy as it is - I suppose one could just think that this is in the spirit of the original comic from which the characters were taken from, which is also rather sketchy. Maybe it'll get inked someday? Meh. So I was a little productive today...
I probably wouldn't be half interested in Hetalia if it wasn't for Roderich and Elizaveta. They're so freaking cute!!! Of course, it also helps that I loved Austria (the actual country) when I went there last year, so I'm already rather partial to Roderich compared to all the other characters. And then there's the fact that I became extremely interested in the Habsburg family after I visited Schloss Schönbrunn, so I completely support the idea of Roderich and Elizaveta being married (Austro-Hungarian Empire).
