Not my style, I know. I'm probably more suited for the cutesy/happy type. I just wanted to try something different for a change. Besides... it fits my mood.
Thanks. I suppose on normal days I probably wouldn't have been able to do this. But all my current frustrated emotions had been placed into this piece, so I suppose that's partly the reason how it ended up the way I wanted it to look like.
Yeah, I know how you feel! I usually draw really cutest piccies, but I usually draw my best stuff when I'm depressed. (Or listening to Evanescence ) Although they usually turn out kinda creepy of sad. Or both...
Well, Anywho, I really like this! Th colors are really...blendy! I jus' wanna give poor Robin a hug! T_T I like how you drew himw ith his eyes closed too. That always gives me trouble -. o *stupid mask...*

I have come to discover that fantasy is a far heathier obsession than reality.
Thanks for the comment! It kind of looks too dark though. I mean, when looking at it from another monitor. When I drew it at home, I could still see everything I made (Robin's face, the trees). But when I tried viewing it here at work, I could barely see the outlines, let alone the background!
So it's either the brightness and contrast of my monitor at home is *waaaay* off, or it's my monitor here at work that's outta wack. What does it look like from your end?
Oh, right... concerning the eyes, I had been half tempted to remove the mask all together when I had been struggling with that area, but that wouldn't be Robin, wouldn't it? So I'm really happy I got the desired effect!
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
