Artist's Comments

I just did the stupidest thing. While idly playing around with Photoshop when working on this piece, I had accidentally overwritten the layered version of the file. All the layers are now flat. What's worse, I didn't notice, so I ended up closing the file! No more going back!

AAARGH!! :slamhead: Thus is the result. No shadows or highlights - just basic color. :slamhead: I'm so stupid... :slamhead:

Anyway... (rubs head) I had so much fun drawing Jason that I asked if I could draw the other kids in her fanfic. She gave me permission, so here they are now. From left to right - Aidan, Olivia, Caleb, Emily, Reese, Jason, and Toby. Notice that I gave the three elder Logan siblings *slightly* pointed ears (supposedly, the youngest looks like BB... so... there you go. Baby BB!). I used this pic as color reference, as well as hair style reference. Except for Emily. I've been told that she's supposed to have short hair, but it wasn't really short in the reference pic, so I made some liberties with her.

Will I try to modify this sometime in the future? Probably. Maybe. Depends. Grrr... I'm so mad at myself right now... :slamhead:

I had the dilemma of wondering which category this would fit. I had almost placed it at the fan-art category, but that wouldn't be right, would it? I mean... the original Teen Titans are nowhere in sight (except perhaps the doll "Auntie Starfire" gave Emily), and all the kids are technically original characters, aren't they? Ack... I'm confused... :confused:

OMG! THIS IS SO FRIGGIN' ADORABLE!! As the author and creator the aforementioned characters (and yes, all of them are original and belong to me) I reserve the right to GLOMP you right now!! This is so perfect! My only nit-pick would be that the doll was Olivia's (but that's okay--she would probably have wound up giving it to Emily anyway) and it was a much more goth-looking dolly. I wasn't very discriptive. Here's what she out to look like [link] Hehe, the doll's name actually *was* Darla.

Let me state once again that I LOVE THIS PIC!!! Baby Caleb is just right, as I said, he's very much Daddy's little boy and Olivia's being such a good big sister! But I think my favorite part is Reese!! I love how he's putting the model of the T-Car in his mouth and Toby's flipping out! :D :D :D

For those that wondered: Olivia, Toby, Emily and Caleb=BB and Raven's kids, Jason=Starfire and Robin's son, Aidan=Torque's son, Reese=Cyborg and Jinx's son

Hehehe... thanks! :glomp: Actually, the doll Emily is holding is the puppet Starfire got from the Puppet Master. I figured perhaps she could have lent it or had given it to her, granted that Star doesn't have a daughter (yet...?), and it would be awkward if Jason got it.

I'm glad you liked it! Sorry about the lack in colors... ^^;
